Antica Enotria, Vriccio Primitivo 2021

Operating on a fully organic farm dating back to the 1700s, Antica Enotria are all about creating amazing wine in a sustainable, authentically Italian way. They still use the estate's original stone cellar to age their wines and also produce olive oil and a variety of vegetables in the summer months. Vriccio 2021 is a super pure expression of the Primitivo grape. Matured in stainless steel for 12-months prior to release, there is no oak influence and as such you're left with an incredibly fruity nose of red plum and raspberry jam. The palate is very clean & supple, which is complemented by light tannins and a beautifully persistent finish. A great pair with pepperoni pizza or cheeses.
